The New York-Connecticut Sustainable Communities Consortium and the Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC) are issuing an application for grants or loans to both for-profit and not-for-profit affordable housing developers for pre-development expenses to support affordable housing development in proximity of public transportation. The Fund will make grants or loans, typically in the range of $25-75,000, to advance projects that have local support, fill a regional housing need and support the six livability principles of the federal Partnership for Sustainable Communities.
