Stamford Town Hall for New Haven Line, Dec. 14

Wednesday, December 14, 2011
6:00PM - 8:30PM

Come have a voice in the future of our community

Does your work commute steal valuable time away from your friends and family? Does your rent or mortgage payment consume too much of your paycheck?

Join us and Stamford's Mayor Pavia in our town hall meeting to be held at:
Ferguson Library
One Public Library Plaza

This is an opportunity to let your voice be heard as the future of Lower Fairfield County is being planned.
The meeting will include a presentation on the work being done by the New York-Connecticut Sustainable Communities Consortium, a collaboration of local governments and regional planning organizations. This partnership is working with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and other federal agencies to create economic opportunity, housing options, transit and a better quality of life for you and your community.

 Learn How...
  • the partners are working to expand job and housing opportunities
  • Stamford, Norwalk, Bridgeport, New Haven, New Rochelle and New York City are participating as part of this effort
  • to take advantage of preferences for federal grant applications
  • you can get involved

Tell Us...
  • your priorities for your community or organization
  • how we should measure our success

This meeting is one of several public forums that will be scheduled throughout Downstate New York and Southern Connecticut to obtain input on programs goals and actions. For additional information, contact Brian Dennis at bdennis@rpa.org, (917) 546.4316.
