Bridgeport Commuter Rail Station Feasibility Study

The New York-Connecticut Sustainable Communities Consortium is issuing a Request for Proposals (RFPs) that seeks a professional engineering consultant or teams of consultants to conduct a comprehensive feasibility study of a new commuter rail station on Bridgeport's East Side. The goals are to determine whether a new rail station can be constructed in a way that is physically possible, compatible with existing Metro-North Railroad and Amtrak service to Bridgeport's downtown station, and catalyzes the redevelopment of the adjacent brownfield properties.
